About Remidio

Remidio is an innovative, high-growth health-tech company leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to transform global eye care. Our AI-powered ophthalmic solutions enable accessible, early disease detection and clinical decision support, improving patient outcomes worldwide. By combining cutting-edge medical hardware, proprietary AI models, and robust cloud infrastructure, Remidio is bridging the gap between advanced ophthalmology and scalable point-of-care screening.

Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive, highly capable IT Manager to lead and elevate Remidio’s internal IT operations, enterprise infrastructure, endpoint security, business applications, and IT governance.
As a key partner to business operations and product security, you will ensure our IT infrastructure is secure, resilient, cost-optimized, and fully compliant with global data privacy and medical device security standards. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can balance day-to-day user support with strategic IT governance, enterprise application management, and regulatory readiness.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Operations & Enterprise Infrastructure
  • Daily Support & SLAs: Oversee internal end-user support (IT ticketing, helpdesk operations, incident response) ensuring high customer satisfaction and strict SLA compliance.
  • Network & Hardware Management: Maintain secure, high-availability corporate networks (firewalls, Wi-Fi, VPNs, switches), servers, NAS storage, and office connectivity.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Administer corporate cloud service accounts, storage, and billing environments (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure).
  • AI & High-Performance Compute Support: Ensure smooth deployment, maintenance, and allocation of high-performance endpoints/workstations utilized by AI/ML and engineering teams.

2. Cybersecurity & Endpoint Security
  • Endpoint Protection & MDM: Administer modern Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR/XDR) platforms and Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools. Enforce strict device enrollment, full-disk encryption, automated patching, application whitelisting, and remote wipe capabilities.
  • Email & Phishing Security: Oversee email security protocols (SPF/DKIM/DMARC), anti-spam/anti-phishing measures, and automated threat monitoring.
  • Incident Management: Serve as the first line of defense for internal IT security incidents, leading investigation, containment, remediation, and root-cause analysis.
  • Security Ownership: Collaborate closely with the Product & Software Security teams to maintain clear boundary definitions between corporate IT infrastructure and product production environments.

3. Identity Management, M365 & Asset Lifecycle
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM): Administer Microsoft 365 / Entra ID (Azure AD), enforcing Least Privilege Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Single Sign-On (SSO), and conducting quarterly access reviews.
  • User Lifecycle Management: Manage automated, seamless employee onboarding and offboarding workflows (user provisioning, role-based access assignment, immediate access revocation).
  • Asset Management: Oversee the complete lifecycle of corporate IT assets—procurement, hardware inventory tracking, maintenance, recycling, and secure device retrieval during offboarding.
  • SaaS & Software Subscriptions: Audit, track, and optimize software licenses across all business applications to eliminate redundant tools and control costs.

4. Information Security, Compliance & Governance
  • ISO 27001 & Compliance: Maintain internal IT security controls, policies, risk registers, and audit evidence for ISO 27001:2022.
  • Regulatory Alignment: Support cross-functional teams in meeting compliance standards for health tech and data privacy regulations, including HIPAA, GDPR, DPDP Act 2023, and ISO 13485 (where corporate IT touches medical device data flows).
  • Audits & Documentation: Lead internal and third-party IT audit readiness, maintaining up-to-date IT policies, disaster recovery plans, and SOPs.
  • Security Awareness Training: Design and execute mandatory cybersecurity awareness programs, phishing simulations, and data hygiene training for all employees.

5. Business Applications & Business Continuity
  • ERP & CRM Administration: Administer and support enterprise business systems, including SAP, Zoho CRM Plus, and integrated SaaS tools (role mapping, workflows, system stability, and vendor escalation).
  • Disaster Recovery (DR) & Backups: Establish, maintain, and regularly test automated backup strategies and Disaster Recovery plans to ensure business continuity across critical data and platforms.

6. Vendor, Budget & Project Management
  • Vendor & Contract Management: Manage relationships with ISPs, hardware suppliers, software vendors, and external IT contractors. Negotiate renewals, contracts, and enforce SLAs.
  • Budget Optimization: Monitor IT expenditures and cloud billing to identify opportunities for consolidation and cost savings.
  • IT Projects: Lead major IT initiatives (e.g., system migrations, network upgrades, security stack implementations) on time and within budget.

7. Leadership & Team Governance
  • Mentorship & Growth: Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing IT team (direct reports or external vendors), fostering a service-oriented and security-minded culture.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with HR, Finance, Software Engineering, Quality & Regulatory, and Sales to translate business requirements into efficient IT solutions.

Core Skills & Qualifications Required
  • Experience: 6–10+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure administration, and information security, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Identity & Cloud: Deep experience administering Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Google Workspace, and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
  • Endpoint & Security Tech: Hands-on mastery of MDM solutions (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Jamf, Kandji), EDR/XDR platforms, firewalls/VPNs, and email security gateways.
  • Compliance & Governance: Solid working knowledge of ISO 27001:2022 requirements, risk management, and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Enterprise Applications: Proven experience administering platforms such as SAP and Zoho Suite (Zoho CRM, Desk, People).

  • Certifications: Industry-recognized certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CRISC, CompTIA Security+, MCSE, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field.
