Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Equipment Service Engineer Trainee to join our technical team. This entry-level role is ideal for fresh graduates who are eager to build a career in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of medical equipment. The trainee will work under the guidance of senior engineers to gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting and supporting healthcare devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in installation, calibration, and commissioning of Ophthalmic equipment at client sites
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Diagnose basic technical issues and escalate complex problems
- Maintain service reports and documentation accurately
- Provide basic user training to hospital staff when required
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Travel to client locations (hospitals/clinics) as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in:
- Biomedical Engineering
- Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Electrical Engineering or related field
- Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience
Skills & Competencies:
- Basic knowledge of electronic circuits and medical devices
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, documentation)
- Ready to Relocate to anywhere in India
Preferred (Optional):
- Internship or training in medical equipment servicing
- Knowledge of diagnostic devices
