About the Job
We are seeking a skilled and motivated AI Clinical Research Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, executing, and publishing multiple clinical research efforts at any given time. You will work closely with software engineering, product and partnership teams to launch and manage clinical studies that drive innovation and deliver business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive our various AI & clinical research initiatives to provide clinical expertise to teams across the company, contributing both to overarching direction as well as to individual product and research roadmaps.
- Use clinical and domain expertise to provide clinical guidance, insights and direction to clinical research projects, working in an embedded model with AI, engineering, product, and partnership teams.
- Identify and create relevant clinical guidelines, evidence-based practices, and use cases related to the development and evaluation of AI models and use these to influence research and product development.
- Understand and internalise latest AI research publications and innovation in priority focus areas and ensure our current and future research efforts leverage them wherever applicable.
Required Qualifications:
- Medical degree in a clinical field (e.g., MBBS, MD, etc.) or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working with AI and health in either public or private sector.
- Experience in core and applied research areas – from study design to completion and publications.
- Experience working in dynamic, ambiguous environments with cross-functional product development teams.
- Experience with Generative AI.
- Experience with project management, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder influence.
- Experience in an applied research setting.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Clinical Research Systems, SaMD (Software as a Medical Device), FDA/CE/CDSCO/HSA regulatory processes, QMS design control, etc.
- Healthcare software (engineering or product) background, including regulatory and compliance requirements
- Experience addressing and adhering to information security standards regulations and requirements, such as DPDP Act, HIPAA, covered entities, and EHR integration, in end user software solutions
