The role incumbent will work on building and expanding the iOS applications that power Remidio' s medical devices.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- Native iOS development using Swift.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and efficient problem solving through code.
- Strong experience with at least 2 modern programming languages, such as Swift, Java, Python, and JavaScript.
- Experience with fast prototyping of ideas and solutions to a given problem.
- Strong skills in debugging issues to determine and fix any root cause that prevents the product from operating as expected.
- Strong understanding of the fundamentals of how various layers of computing systems work -> such as basic knowledge of operating systems, networking concepts, user interfaces, API standards, and compilers.
- Has research oriented and has a problem-solving mindset, driven by first principles thinking. Preferable but not mandatory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- To own software research problems and collaborate with the R&D team in the early design, development, and prototyping of mobile based medical devices.
- You will work on building and expanding the iOS applications that power our medical devices. The responsibilities would include
- Deployment of Computer Vision algorithms and Deep Learning models on an iPhone based medical device.
- Applying computational photography techniques for medical imaging.
- Implementation and improvements to user interfaces.
- Connection of the application to backend services via Rest APIS Identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs.
- Exploring new ways to leverage the iOS ecosystem for better medical imaging.
